In this role you will join a cross‑functional analytics squad to build scalable GenAI and ML software for Morgan Stanley’s strategic technology platform. You will work with global teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, following established SDLC practices. You’ll leverage Python and GenAI tooling to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality, tests, and maintainability. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Python and Java within an Agile squad
  • Leverage GenAI tools to boost development velocity and solution quality
  • Collaborate with global teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage project status amid evolving regulatory requirements
  • Adhere to Morgan Stanley SDLC standards and governance
  • Write comprehensive unit tests and ensure code reliability
  • Learn and apply proprietary frameworks and best practices
  • Engage with vendors and open-source agent frameworks and SDKs
  • UI development involvement using Angular/React and related web technologies

Key requirements

  • 7+ years in software development, with 5+ years Python
  • Experience with GenAI coding assistants and application development using LLMs
  • Proficiency in both RDBMS and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and observability tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in global Agile Scrum teams
  • Experience with vendor/open source agent frameworks and SDKs (e.g., Azure Foundry, Copilot Studio)
  • UI development experience with Angular or React
  • Linux/Unix and shell scripting knowledge
