Overview

Senior Product Manager to shape and grow a key area of Riverlane’s software portfolio in quantum computing. You will partner with engineering, science, and business teams to translate user needs into a compelling roadmap and drive adoption. The role balances long-term ambition with what is achievable today in a fast-moving environment. You’ll influence strategy across stakeholders and align go-to-market efforts to deliver impact in the QEC-focused product area.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for your product area, balancing user needs, stakeholder input and Riverlane’s direction
  • Engage with customers, partners and internal teams to map market needs and competitive landscape
  • Prioritize features using product data, market insight and competition to drive adoption
  • Align stakeholders across C-suite, research, engineering, BD and marketing and identify new opportunities
  • Support go-to-market readiness with Marketing and BD, including external collateral and documentation
  • Monitor delivery progress and adapt plans as needed

Key requirements

  • Background in engineering or science (degree or equivalent)
  • 4+ years in B2B product management
  • Experience in HPC or quantum computing translating complex trade-offs into product decisions
  • High emotional intelligence with strong listening and critical thinking
  • Collaborative, cross-functional team player who can influence without authority
  • Comfort with deep technical understanding of product capabilities and limitations
  • Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
  • Proactive mindset to identify and act on opportunities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (roughly quarterly, under 10%)
