You will lead mechanical engineering deliverables across studies, design and construction support, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Deliver mechanical engineering packages across studies, design and project execution phases
  • Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise on multidisciplinary mining and processing projects
  • Develop engineering deliverables including reports, specifications, calculations and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with process, civil, structural, electrical and project delivery teams for integrated solutions
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes
  • Support project planning, risk management, cost estimation and engineering governance activities
  • Contribute to successful delivery of brownfield and sustaining capital projects in operating mines
  • Mentor and support developing engineers and foster a strong engineering culture

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8+ years’ experience in mining, mineral processing or industrial projects
  • Strong consulting experience across studies, detailed design and project delivery
  • Experience delivering sustaining capital projects
  • Knowledge of pipelines, pumping systems, slurry handling and process plant infrastructure
  • Exposure to materials handling systems, process equipment and piping design
  • Strong procurement, vendor management and construction support abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Chartered status or progress toward Chartership (advantage)
