Fund Analyst

Overview

As Fund Analyst, you apply accounting expertise to property investment and portfolio management, going beyond numbers to inform investment decisions. You’ll work with endowment portfolios, building models and conducting performance analysis to support commercial outcomes. This role blends finance, property, and investment, offering exposure to high-profile portfolios and opportunities to shape reporting and insights. You’ll join a collaborative team at a historic UK property firm that values professional development and an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts, forecasts and quarterly reporting packs for client committees
• Analyse portfolio performance and monitor against budgets
• Build robust financial models to assess investment and commercial business cases
• Appraise development opportunities, capex projects, acquisitions and disposals
• Assess returns using IRR, NPV and cash-on-cash
• Run sensitivity and scenario analysis to understand outcomes
• Translate complex financial data into clear commercial insights for decision-makers
• Utilise data analysis and visualization to illustrate portfolio performance
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and analytical processes

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling capability
• Ability to build models from first principles and interpret results commercially
