Overview

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in UK Infrastructure, you drive cost control and governance across client and Turner & Townsend projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to monitor budgets, forecast costs, and manage contract changes, delivering value through proactive commercial oversight. This role sits at the heart of project delivery, shaping outcomes and supporting large-scale infrastructure programmes. You will collaborate to meet KPIs and ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed, contributing to the firm’s cost-effective delivery of critical projects.

Responsibilities

  • Establish professional relationships with clients and project teams
  • Administer contracts in line with objectives and policies
  • Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion
  • Monitor cost variance and contract cash flow; ensure timely applications
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering
  • Manage contract change to stay within governance and best practices
  • Improve forecast and budget accuracy
  • Provide commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders
  • Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed
  • Commission management as needed
