HR Business Partner

Overview

In this HR Business Partner role, you will connect with leaders, managers and employees to drive engagement, policy adherence and leadership guidance. You’ll partner with the Head of HR and the C‑Suite on workforce planning, talent and succession, using people analytics to inform decisions. You’ll collaborate across HR, Payroll and IT to support change, governance, and capability development. The role offers influence across policy, compliance and leadership development within a people-centric, analytics-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide Managers and Leaders in fair people practices and psychological safety
• Lead workforce planning, talent and succession activities and organisational change
• Drive employee engagement through surveys, analytics and action plans
• Support disciplinary and performance proceedings per policy
• Assist with policy maintenance in line with legislation and business needs
• Collaborate with GDPR & SOC, Legal and Compliance teams
• Engage with L&D on leadership development and coaching
• Support HR Team development and capability building
• Provide data-driven insights to support organisational change
• Assist with HR System testing and process documentation

Key requirements

• 5+ years of commercial HR experience
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience with HRIS Dayforce or equivalent
• Empathy and active listening capabilities
• Experience in data analytics to inform decisions
• Knowledge of employment law, GDPR and compliance teams
• CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent practical experience)
• Coaching or mediation experience (desirable)
