Overview
As a Programme Manager at Valtech, you link delivery teams with senior management to ensure programmes align with client strategy and maximise value. You work across pre-sales, inception, and full lifecycle delivery, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to drive efficiency and governance. You coach agile practices, shape delivery approaches, and manage budgets while engaging stakeholders up to CXO level. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base and a chance to influence large-scale digital transformation initiatives at a global consultancy.

Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of a programme from pre-sales to completion
- Align individual project outcomes with client strategic goals
- Coordinate planning, execution, and closing of projects within the programme
- Enhance efficiency by coordinating across programme teams
- Collaborate with client and delivery teams to refine processes
- Manage programme budget with robust financial tracking
- Coach teams in Agile practices and principles
- Implement governance processes across the programme
- Lead client-focused activities from bid to delivery
- Manage client communications up to C-suite level
- Build and manage multi-functional delivery teams with budget responsibility
- Apply iterative planning, forecasting, estimating, and risk management
- Identify and mitigate dependencies and obstacles
Key requirements
- Experience delivering large digital transformation programmes (5–10m) in a client-facing digital solutions environment
- Strong background in digital or software delivery disciplines
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including CXOs
- Demonstrated leadership with measurable impact beyond task completion
- Experience tailoring approaches (e.g., Agile methods, Lean UX/Startup, Design Thinking, Design Sprints, programme management)
- Experience supporting new business opportunities: needs discovery, team assembly, planning/cost modelling, and proposal writing
