Overview

In this role, you will build and enhance platforms for regulatory tracking and risk management as part of Corporate Tech. You’ll contribute as an individual in an agile team, delivering secure, scalable production code that supports regulatory functions. You’ll collaborate across cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and advance the technology strategy for risk platforms. This role offers opportunities to shape architecture, improve systems, and drive measurable impact in regulatory tech.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance regulatory controls and operational risk platforms using Java or Python
  • Leverage Terraform and AWS to build secure, scalable applications
  • Deliver end-to-end software solutions, from design to troubleshooting
  • Create secure, production-ready code aligned with dependent systems
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
  • Identify data patterns to drive improvements in code quality and architecture
  • Contribute to engineering communities and explore new technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of applications

Key requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with solid applied experience
  • Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability
  • Java or Python programming experience, including event-driven microservices and Kafka
  • Experience with AWS services in public cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency in RDBMS concepts and SQL querying
  • Hands-on skills with Terraform
  • Proficiency in automation and CI/CD methods
  • Ability to utilize AI tools as part of software development and deliverables
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
