Mobile Air Conditioning SupervisorCambridge RegionFull TimeCompetitive Salary, Plus Van, Plus overtime available + Plus On Call Allowance SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Supervisor to support the growth of our self-delivery Air Conditioning division across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong leader to take ownership of safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery while helping to develop and expand our in-house capability.The role combines hands-on technical support with operational leadership, team development, client engagement and support for business growth. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, quoted works and small projects, while supporting technicians with complex fault finding, compliance and quality assurance.Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you will help drive service excellence, strengthen customer relationships and identify opportunities to grow the Air Conditioning offering across existing and new clients. Key Responsibilities
Support the growth and development of the Air Conditioning self-delivery service across the regionProvide technical support, mentoring and quality assurance to EngineersBuild strong working relationships with clients, FM teams and service partnersEnsure accurate management of jobs, service records and reporting through CAFM systemsPromote high standards of Health & Safety, compliance and safe systems of workSupport quotations, technical solutions and delivery of reactive works and small projectsAssist with complex fault finding and critical reactive maintenance when requiredContribute to team development, recruitment support and continuous improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities to expand services within existing and new client accounts
What we are looking for:
Strong experience in Air Conditioning service delivery within commercial environmentsProven knowledge of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and minor works on split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systemsExperience supporting or supervising Engineers and subcontractorsGood understanding of Health & Safety, F-Gas compliance, RAMS and permit-to-work systemsExperience using CAFM or service management systemsCommercial awareness with the ability to support quotations and identify opportunitiesStrong client-facing and communication skillsF-Gas Category 1 qualification or equivalent essential
Desirable
Supervisory or team leadership experience within a mobile service environmentIOSH, SSSTS or SMSTS qualificationExperience with chillers and larger HVAC systemsElectrical or advanced diagnostic experienceKnowledge of TM44 and wider energy efficiency services
