Key Focus of the Role
This role has a significant focus on supporting the MAC Workstream Lead while providing commercial and delivery governance for all MAC works, including those delivered through subcontracted partners. The successful candidate will act as the key interface between programme leadership, commercial teams and delivery providers, ensuring effective controls, transparency, accountability and successful execution of MAC activities across the programme.
What You’ll Do
Provide strategic leadership and support to the Move, Add and Change (MAC) workstream, partnering closely with the MAC Workstream Lead to ensure delivery aligns with program objectives, client requirements and broader transition and transformation goals.
Establish and maintain robust commercial, operational and risk governance across all MAC-related activities, ensuring effective oversight of works delivered through subcontracted delivery partners.
Lead governance forums and stakeholder engagement activities, providing clear visibility of MAC programme performance, commercial status, risks, dependencies, change requests and key delivery milestones.
Oversee subcontractor performance management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, agreed service levels, commercial controls, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
Manage financial performance across the MAC workstream, including budget oversight, forecasting, cost control, change management, invoice validation and the resolution of commercial issues.
Drive accountability across internal and external delivery teams, ensuring risks, issues and escalations are proactively managed and resolved to maintain programme timelines and business objectives.
Partner with Commercial, Procurement, Finance and Project Delivery teams to implement governance processes, improve operational efficiency and ensure consistent delivery outcomes across the MAC portfolio.
Oversee large, cross-functional projects and programmes from initiation through completion, ensuring all workstreams remain aligned, on schedule and supported by effective governance and decision-making.
Develop and distribute executive-level reporting, dashboards and PMO updates, providing leadership with actionable insights on MAC delivery performance, commercial exposure, resource requirements and programme health.
Apply advanced programme management expertise to identify opportunities for process improvement, delivery optimisation and enhanced governance controls across the organisation.
Lead by example and model behaviours consistent with CBRE RISE values, influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across diverse teams and delivery partners.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
- The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
- Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
