Job Description:

Salary: £65,000 – 65,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Experienced Senior or Lead Software Engineer with strong commercial experience building modern web applications
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js
  • Experience remaining hands-on while leading technical discussions and mentoring engineers
  • Experience shaping scalable software solutions
  • Experience across backend technologies such as Node.js or C#/.NET would be highly beneficial
  • Experience with cloud platforms would be highly beneficial
  • Experience with modern software delivery practices would be highly beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of modern web applications and platforms
  • Develop production code across both frontend and backend technologies
  • Design and build scalable APIs and integrations
  • Drive architectural decisions and engineering best practices
  • Mentor and support a small team of Software Engineers
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance
  • Collaborate with product, design and delivery teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Promote software quality through testing, CI/CD, security, performance and observability
