Society is in your hands, what are you waiting for?
Our structural engineering teams are growing, and we’re working on some genuinely exciting projects across the UK and Europe. We’re looking for an ambitious Associate Structural Engineer to join our London Structures team and play an important role in our continued growth.
What does the role involve?
We are a people-focused team, and we believe that successful projects are built on strong relationships, collaboration and trust. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with others, takes pride in their work and wants to make a positive contribution to our team and the projects we deliver.
This is an opportunity to take a leading role in project delivery, develop strong client relationships and support the growth of less experienced engineers. You’ll work alongside talented colleagues on a varied portfolio of projects, providing practical, high-quality and sustainable structural engineering advice.
To be successful in this role, you’ll:
- Be a qualified Structural Engineer and a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers/ICE
- Have experience in a comparable role, with a strong focus on technical leadership and clear design communication.
- Have excellent engineering and design skills, and be confident using digital design and analysis tools.
- Have good knowledge and understanding of UK codes of practice, design standards, Building Regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Take a practical and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Be commercially aware and confident developing positive relationships with clients and project teams.
- Be a positive role model who is keen to support and develop less experienced engineers. Lead by example.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who will work well with our team, share our people-focused approach and be excited to grow with us.
What’s in it for you?
You’ll experience an inclusive, friendly and flexible working environment where colleagues are encouraged to grow and develop. A meaningful job where you’ll help to transform society by being a trusted consultant to our clients.
If you believe you have the skill set required to be our next Associate Structural Engineer and are keen to join a business with genuine opportunities for career progression, then we’d love to hear from you.
