We are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Site Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis in Guernsey.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced passive fire professional with proven site leadership experience to take responsibility for leading teams, maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme.
As Passive Fire Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing passive fire engineers on site, coordinating day-to-day activities and ensuring work is completed to the required standards, deadlines and specifications.
You will play a key role in motivating and developing your team, driving best practice and maintaining a strong culture of safety, quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise teams of passive fire engineers on site.
- Plan and coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects remain on programme.
- Motivate teams and maintain high levels of productivity and workmanship.
- Ensure all passive fire works are completed in accordance with specifications, relevant standards and project requirements.
- Drive best practice across installation, inspection and quality control.
- Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and compliance.
- Monitor progress against project deadlines and proactively address any issues.
- Liaise with project management, clients, contractors and other site teams.
- Ensure site documentation, records and quality requirements are maintained.
- Support the identification and resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Lead by example and promote a positive, professional site culture.
The successful candidate will have strong practical experience within passive fire protection, combined with proven experience supervising and leading teams on construction sites.
You will be an effective communicator and confident leader who can motivate a team, manage competing priorities and ensure deadlines are achieved without compromising safety or quality.
Hours of work available are 8-10hrs per day Monday to Saturday (minimum 40 Monday to Friday)
Essential Requirements
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- First Aid certification.
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection.
- CSCS card.
- Proven experience leading teams of passive fire engineers on site.
- Strong understanding of passive fire protection installation and compliance.
- Experience managing teams, productivity and site deadlines.
- Demonstrable ability to motivate and manage people effectively.
- A strong commitment to health, safety, quality and best practice.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Package & Benefits
£52,000 – £78,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability.
