Life Science Regional Sales Manager
MedChemExpress has an immediate opening for a Recombinant Proteins Regional Sales Manager based in the United Kingdom. This is a full-time position with career advancement opportunities within the company. You must be available to work from Monday to Friday and willing to travel. You must be legally working in the United Kingdom.
Your Role
- Ability to work independently to achieve sales growth and reach sales targets for MedChemExpress recombinant proteins in the United Kingdom.
- Promote the MedChemExpress brand and recombinant proteins in the United Kingdom.
- Interact well with customers and maintain good customer relationships, visit customers regularly, develop new customers, and be professional and courteous. Be willing to spend 50% of the week on business trips within the UK.
- Professionally receive customer calls, chats, and emails regarding orders and technical questions.
- Communicate accurate information regarding products, prices, product availability, and current promotions.
- Work as an effective team player to ensure efficiency and success.
- Cooperate with the BD manager and marketing manager to participate in branding and marketing events for life science products.
- Collect local market and industry information, conduct market research, and share insights with the team to aid in marketing strategies.
- Exhibit excellent business communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), organizational skills, and computer skills.
- Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and industry from existing customers and new leads.
- Handle customer inquiries, build customer files, follow up on order processing and delivery, and provide after-sale service.
- Attend exhibitions, scientific conferences, and trade shows; develop marketing campaigns; collect customer information.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Science, Medicine, Bioscience, Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with biological, biomedical, biochemical, or pharmaceutical industries, with at least three years of relevant work experience, including one year related to recombinant proteins.
- Willingness to engage in sales work and tolerate work pressure.
- Friendly, talkative, open-minded, and responsible.
- Good communication skills, ambition, and strong customer service awareness.
- High self-motivation and perseverance, with good time management skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
