About you:
- Proven experience in a Food Safety and Quality role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, retailer codes of practice, and food legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation tools
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under strict deadlines
- Skilled decision-maker with good time management
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain systems, policies, and procedures within the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing improvement and compliance
- Oversee product launches, technical product oversight, and manage critical paths for new products and artwork
- Prepare for customer and BRC audits, ensuring standards are consistently met
- Conduct internal audits covering GMP, hygiene, glass, and quality systems
- Facilitate NPD and process development activities, supporting innovation initiatives
- Investigate complaints related to raw materials and packaging, reporting findings accordingly
- Work closely with production teams to ensure project timescales align with operational requirements
- Assist in developing and implementing the company’s quality policies in collaboration with senior technical staff
- Contribute to site visits, audits, and maintain site standards related to food safety and quality
