Salary/Benefits:
- Competitive daily rate of £600-£800, depending on experience
- Contract initially for 6 months with a high likelihood of extension
- Hybrid working options available, primarily onsite in Coleraine

About you:
- Extensive experience designing and operating large-scale data-centre networks
- Proven hands-on expertise with 100G / 400G Ethernet, ideally 800G
- Strong knowledge of BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, routing and switching
- Practical experience with RoCE, RDMA, InfiniBand, HPC, or GPU networking
- Skilled in low-latency, lossless network design and data centre commissioning
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and ensure SLAs are met
- Familiarity with cloud connectivity across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design and operation of leaf-spine data-centre networks supporting AI workloads
- Oversee network architecture involving high-speed Ethernet and advanced routing protocols
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage carrier SLAs to ensure seamless connectivity
- Implement and oversee security measures, incident response, and disaster recovery planning
- Support data centre commissioning and optimise network performance for HPC and GPU clusters
