A trusted client has asked us to support them with the appointment of a Business Development Representative to join their growing team.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with recruitment experience, as many of the skills developed in recruitment can transfer really well into this position. If you are in agency recruitment, but don’t see yourself building a career there, this is an opportunity to move into another competitive career path in the Sales and Marketing space.

  • Has experience in recruitment, sales, business development or a similar role
  • Is confident speaking to new people
  • Enjoys building relationships
  • Is commercially minded and motivated by results
  • Has strong communication skills
  • Is organised and pays attention to detail
  • Is comfortable working towards targets
  • Is ambitious and keen to progress

About Your New Role

Always

  • Identify and engage with prospective clients
  • Build and develop new business relationships
  • Use a combination of phone, email and online channels to generate opportunities
  • Research potential clients and understand their needs
  • Qualify opportunities and work closely with the wider team
  • Maintain accurate records and activity
  • Work towards agreed targets and objectives

  • Pick up the phone and start conversations with new people
  • Research businesses and identify potential opportunities
