We are looking an experianced Retail Security Officer to join our team In Bangor – (Sainsburys Bangor) to be considered for this role you must hold a vaild SIA licence or SIA qualifactions – you must have a full 5 year work/school history, The role will include a mixture of early shifts, Evenng shifts, weekends and bank holidays
About the Role
We’re looking for a confident, approachable Retail Security Officer who can bring energy, professionalism and a calm presence to the shop floor. This is a role where no two days are the same as you’ll be helping to protect people, prevent loss and create a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues alike.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
- Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
- Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
- Carrying out regular store patrols
- Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
- Working closely with store management teams
- Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
- Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
What You’ll Need
- A valid SIA licence – Also holding a CCTV licence is an advantage
- A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)
- A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach
