Job Description n Prestigious opportunity for a Network Solutions Design Engineer (Aruba) with a global leader in the provision of cutting-edge connectivity and digital solutions, delivering world class broadband, mobile and network services. n Our customer solutions design team lead the way in implementing complex Voice, Network, Wireless and Security Solutions across a wide array of vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba and Microsoft using technologies such as SD-WAN, SD-A, ISE, ACI, Webex, MS Teams & NextGen FWs. We are inviting you to join our success story based in Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham and Newcastle in a hybrid role 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remotely. n Taking High Level Designs into the Low-Level detail at the Post-Sale stage, implementing the solution followed by thorough testing before handing over to the relevant support or managed service teams. n You will be responsible for: – n n Capturing detailed customer technical requirements and translating into technical solutions design n Management and delivery of the technical direction of the solutions design n Managing the review and validation processes for both new and in-life products and services n Managing customer solutions design engagement, statement of work creation and 3rd party deliverables n Facilitating strong customer relationships at a senior level n Customer migration planning and implementation n Resolving complex solution and service issues, leading root cause analysis and escalation n Identification of potential risks, implementing controls and mitigations n Ensuring delivery of thought leadership in complex bids and agreeing a strategic approach n n If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LET’S TALK! n n Experience in low level and high level design of complex network solutions n Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public sector clients. n Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills n HPE Aruba certified to Associate level (changed to Associate level) with a solid working knowledge of the following would be highly advantageous: n Aruba AOS-S Switches n Aruba AOS-8 WLAN n Aruba AOS-CX Switches n Aruba AOS-10 WLAN n Aruba Central n Aruba ClearPass n Aruba SD-WAN n n Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies advantageous: n n Traditional Cisco WAN n Traditional Cisco LAN n Cisco Wireless n Cisco SDA n Catalyst Centre n Cisco ISE n n In return, you will be rewarded with on going training and career development, 10% on target bonus, an enviable pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays, discounted broadband, mobile and TV packages and much more.
