Job Description n n LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT / PROJECT MANAGER n Maternity Cover Potential Permanent Position n North Glasgow n Company Car Provided n Full-Time, Monday Friday starting November 2026. n Temporary Maternity Cover with Potential Permanent Opportunity n Competitive Salary Dependent on Experience. n We are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape Architect / Project Manager to join our team in North Glasgow, initially providing maternity cover. n This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently manage landscaping projects from the initial planning and design stages through to successful completion with our experience build teams. n For the right candidate, there is the possibility of a permanent full-time position following the maternity cover period. n THE ROLE n The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination and management of multiple projects, working closely with clients, site teams, suppliers and subcontractors. n Key responsibilities will include: n Managing landscaping projects from initial enquiry/design through to completion and handover n Reviewing and producing landscape drawings, specifications and project information n Preparing project programmes and coordinating works n Attending client, design and progress meetings n Liaising with clients, architects, main contractors, local authorities, suppliers and subcontractors n Carrying out site visits and monitoring progress, quality and programme n Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors n Assisting with project pricing, budgets and cost control n Managing variations and additional works n Procurement and ordering of materials n Monitoring project deadlines and ensuring works remain on programme n Maintaining accurate project records, reports and documentation n Working closely with site management to resolve design or construction issues n Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality, safety standards. n Assisting with final inspections, snagging and project handovers n THE IDEAL CANDIDATE n We are looking for someone with relevant experience in landscape architecture, Private landscaping, construction or project management. n The successful applicant should have: n Previous experience managing landscaping or construction-related projects n Strong organisational and project management skills n Ability to manage several projects simultaneously n Good understanding of drawings, specifications and construction information n Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs n Excellent communication and client-facing skills n Confidence dealing with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers n Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and project management software n Experience with CAD/design software would be advantageous n Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects n Full UK driving licence n WHAT WE OFFER n Competitive salary dependent on experience n Company car n Full-time Monday Friday position n Varied portfolio of landscaping projects n Supportive working environment n Opportunity to take responsibility for projects and develop within the business n Potential permanent full-time position for the right candidate following the maternity cover period n We are looking for someone who can become part of the team quickly, take ownership of live projects and maintain a high standard of service to our clients. n To apply, please send your CV along with a brief summary of your experience, current availability and salary expectations.
