Job Description n Cash Management Consultant (Operating Model Design) n Inside IR35 | London | Remote-first n I’m working on an opportunity for an experienced Cash Management Consultant to support a banking transformation assignment focused on the design of a future-state Cash Operations Operating Model. n The role will suit someone with a strong background in banking operations who understands how physical cash moves through a bank, from branch networks into central operations and across wider business entities. n What you’ll be doing as a Cash Management Consultant: n n Assessing how cash moves across branch networks, central operations, subsidiaries and other parts of the banking organisation. n Mapping the end-to-end cash life cycle, including cash processing, reconciliation, inter-entity movements and cash-in-transit arrangements. n Reviewing existing processes, controls, systems and operational hand-offs to identify gaps, inefficiencies and dependencies. n Designing the future-state operating model, defining process ownership, roles and responsibilities, governance and controls. n Working with stakeholders across branch operations, cash management, treasury and wider banking operations to develop a joined-up approach. n Identifying opportunities to standardise processes, improve operational efficiency and reduce complexity across the cash life cycle. n n What we’re looking for: n n Banking operations, cash management or a related consulting environment. n A strong understanding of physical cash management and how cash flows through a banking organisation. n Previous experience working with bank branch networks and branch cash operations. n Knowledge of cash-in-transit processes, cash reconciliation and movements between branches, central operations and subsidiaries. n Proven experience in operating model design, including current-state assessments and future-state development. n Confidence mapping complex operational processes and engaging senior banking stakeholders. n n To hear more, get in touch with Connor Smyth at Anson McCade.
