They work individually and as part of a team to develop new products, support existing products, test and evaluate equipment.n n n nKey job responsibilitiesn nControls Engineers in AWS deploys , maintains BMS (Building Management System) & EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System) across our leased/colocation data centers They co-ordinate with AWS DCEO (Data Center Engineering Operations) teams to implement new builds, upgrades etc and ensures high availability and high resiliency of these control systems.n n nAscertain customer needs to help develop project scope and specifications.n n nManage scopes of work relative to the site specifics and customer needs.n n nManage project engineering to determine the scope of work relative to the design intent of the customer needsn n nRead and interpret specifications and implement those specifications as they apply the work environment.n n nDevelop control panel BOM’sn n nDevelop ISA data sheets for temperature, level, flow, and pressure transmitters along with ISA data sheets for control valves, positioners, analytical, and various other types of instrumentation.n n nDevelop drawings for control panels, power distribution, junction boxes. Included in the drawings are the general arrangement, internal layout, schematics and interconnection and wiring diagrams.n n nDevelop logic diagrams in the International Automation format for complex logic devices such as Programmable Logical Controller and Distributed Control System.
