Job Description n Compliance Consultant, Bristol, Hybrid n Summary of the role n A leading business in Bristol are currently looking for a Compliance Consultant to join their company to play a central role in ensuring a seamless, compliant, and people-first onboarding journey for candidates joining their clients via contract, temporary, or permanent routes. n This role blends attention to detail and regulatory accuracy with customer-centric service delivery. You will act as a key liaison between candidates, recruiters and client services colleagues, ensuring all onboarding tasks are completed to the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and care. n As we evolve into a high-performing team that champions experience at scale, you will take ownership of your part in the process, build positive working relationships, & contribute actively to continuous improvement, team collaboration, & service excellence. n About You n n A relationship-builder who enjoys working with people & supporting them through the onboarding process. n Confident communicator – both written & verbal – who can liaise professionally with candidates & colleagues. n Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail. n Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. n Comfortable learning & using systems such as CRMs, contract management tools, and onboarding platforms. n A problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude. n Committed to learning & continuous improvement. n Thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment. n n What You’ll Be Doing n Onboarding Delivery & Candidate Experience n n Guide candidates through the pre-employment screening & onboarding process in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. n Deliver right-first-time onboarding by ensuring contracts, compliance documentation, and background checks meet client and legal standards. n Build rapport with candidates & act as a point of contact throughout their onboarding journey, answering questions and offering clear updates. n Work closely with internal customers and or company’s brands (Client Services, S-Rec, Brands, Projects, G&D, Outsource, Method, Fuse, etc) to enable placements and build trust-based working relationships. n n Contract Management & Compliance n n Generate, issue, and administer contracts, offer letters and contract extensions accurately and in line with SLAs. n Conduct vetting activities including references, Right to Work checks, and client-specific requirements. n Maintain accurate records and ensure all systems (SharePoint, CRM, Onboarding platforms) are kept up to date and fully audit ready. n Flag and resolve any issues that may impact compliance or onboarding timelines, escalating when needed. n n Quality & Continuous Improvement n n Take ownership of a smooth, supportive, and fast-paced onboarding journey, ensuring candidates feel well-guided, valued, and ready to start without unnecessary delays. n Contribute to team-wide initiatives to reduce pass-backs, duplication, & back-and-forth, enabling smoother handovers and fewer delays. n Conduct self-audits on onboarding files to ensure compliance accuracy before submission. n Collaborate with Team Leaders, Quality Assurance Compliance Consultants & other SMEs to suggest improvements to workflows, templates, and processes. n n Collaboration & Service Excellence n n Embrace a team culture where “one team”, collaboration, ownership, & communication are central to how we work. n Be proactive in helping colleagues and seeking clarification when needed to ensure tasks are completed correctly first time. n Champion a positive candidate and colleague experience, always striving to be responsive, approachable, & solutions focused. n Cross-train to become an SME in specific areas of compliance such as, Quality Assurance, Contracts, International, etc, to maintain flexibility & provide cover during unforeseen absence or peak activity periods. n Support colleagues across the business & clients by willingly participating in client calls, meetings, or correspondence where required. n n Reporting & Data Accuracy n n Ensure all onboarding activities are tracked & updated accurately in relevant systems. n Contribute to weekly, monthly, & quarterly reporting on onboarding performance, highlighting any compliance trends or process delays. n n Success Measures n n Right-first-time onboarding completion rate based on 10% of packs n Volume of onboards completed n Time to onboard (average per placement) n File audit pass rate (internal and client) n Collaboration and responsiveness ratings from internal customers (Client Services, S-Rec, company’s Brands, company’s Projects, G&D) n n Additional Notes n This job description is not intended to be exhaustive.
