About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and efficient Logistics Operations Officer to manage daily logistics activities at their facility in East London . You will be instrumental in coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining operational efficiency within the supply chain. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage resources and staff to meet operational goals. You will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless logistics execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations, including receiving, dispatch, and delivery.
• Ensure efficient management of warehouse stock and inventory levels.
• Monitor transportation schedules and coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time performance.
• Implement and enforce company policies and safety procedures within the logistics operations.
• Manage and train logistics support staff, ensuring high performance.
• Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly to minimize disruption.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics operations or a similar role.
• Familiarity with warehouse management and transportation coordination.
