Chapman Tate Associates are delighted to be partnering with a leading ERP solutions provider as they look to appoint an experienced ERP Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Northern England.


This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with experience selling ERP software and services to join a growing ERP partner with an excellent reputation in the market.


The Role


As ERP Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new ERP opportunities across a range of industries. Working closely with pre-sales and delivery teams, you will manage the sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and close.


Key Responsibilities



  • Generate and develop new business opportunities across the North of England.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including Finance Directors, Managing Directors, and Operations leaders.

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.

  • Deliver compelling ERP solution presentations and demonstrations alongside technical teams.

  • Develop strategic account plans to maximise revenue opportunities.

  • Work collaboratively with marketing, pre-sales, and implementation teams.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM records.


About You



  • Proven experience in a Business Development Manager, Account Executive, or ERP Sales role.

  • Previous experience selling ERP software solutions through an ERP partner or software vendor.

  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a territory independently.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern England.
