As a Director in Fitch Ratings’ Funds & Asset Management group, you will lead and contribute to fund ratings analyses and methodological development in a global context. Responsibilities
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative factors affecting fund and structured transaction credit quality
- Review legal documentation (indentures, prospectuses) for transactions
- Develop financial models and databases
- Participate in on-site due diligence with fund managers
- Present rating recommendations to committees
- Contribute to research on sector trends
- Engage with investors, bankers, fund managers, and market participants
- Ensure high standards of independence and avoid conflicts of interest
Key requirements
- Experience in finance with exposure to funds, structured finance transactions, or debt underwriting or lending (benefits level based on experience)
