Global Strategic Sourcing Manager MRO & Indirect Procurement

Overview

In this role you drive global sourcing strategies across MRO, CAPEX, technical services and indirect categories to optimise costs and strengthen supplier performance. You’ll collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and leadership to deliver sustainable value and support procurement transformation. You will act as Deputy to the Global Director Strategic Procurement, contributing to governance and major initiatives. This is a chance to shape procurement standards and partner with senior stakeholders across Europe, Türkiye and North America in a sustainability-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global sourcing strategies across MRO, CAPEX, technical services and indirect categories
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and regional leaders to improve costs, supplier performance and resilience
• Support the Global Director Strategic Procurement with governance and transformation initiatives
• Drive supplier relationship management and complex contract outcomes with multinational suppliers
• Lead cross-functional projects and change initiatives within a matrix organisation
• Leverage procurement systems, spend analytics and e-auctions to inform decisions

Key requirements

• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, category management or procurement leadership
• Experience across MRO, CAPEX, technical services, maintenance or indirect procurement
• Strong commercial, negotiation and supplier relationship skills
• Experience in multinational, matrix organisations and cross-functional projects
• Analytical, financial, project and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience with SAP, procurement systems, spend analytics and e-auctions
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; Master or procurement certification advantageous
• Fluent English; German or other European languages advantageous
