Overview
In this role you will manage a sizeable community pub estate, focusing on valuation, rent reviews, and landlord-tenant matters across a broad regional patch. You will join a small, specialist team and be expected to contribute immediately with minimal onboarding. The position supports growth of the estate and may align with confidential future recruitment needs. You’ll work autonomously within licensed/leisure property, bringing deep sector knowledge to optimise asset performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead valuations and rent reviews for a ~300-pub portfolio (leased & tenanted)
- Manage landlord-tenant matters and negotiate terms
- Work autonomously across a large regional patch
- Contribute to internal pub rent methodology and sector knowledge sharing
- Support growth and strategic positioning of the community pub estate
- Coordinate with a small team to ensure consistent estate management standards
Key requirements
- MRICS qualified
- Significant valuation and rent review experience
- Strong sector knowledge in pubs/leisure properties
- Proven ability to work autonomously over a wide geography
- Experience in in-house pub/hospitality or licensed/leisure property
- Background in licensed/leisure property preferred over general retail
