Job Description:

We are recruiting for dedicated Teaching Assistants and LSA’s support teachers and pupils within Primary and Secondary school settings on a temporary supply basis, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment while assisting with classroom activities and student support.Key Responsibilities

Support teachers with classroom preparation and daily activitiesWork with individual pupils and small groups to support learningAssist students with additional learning needs where requiredEncourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessonsHelp maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environmentSupport pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes and school activities if requiredAssist with classroom organisation, displays and learning resourcesFollow school safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety procedures at all timesAdapt quickly to different school environments and age groupsPrimary School Duties May Include:

Supporting phonics, reading and numeracy activitiesAssisting with creative and practical classroom tasksProviding pastoral support to younger pupilsSecondary School Duties May Include:

Supporting students across a range of curriculum subjectsWorking alongside SEN departments or intervention teamsAssisting students with organisation and classroom engagementEssential Requirements

Previous experience working with children or young peopleGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly across different schools and year groupsPositive, patient and proactive attitudeUnderstanding of safeguarding responsibilities in education settingsDesirable Skills & Experience

Previous Teaching Assistant experience in Primary or Secondary schoolsExperience supporting SEN studentsRelevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ or equivalentBehaviour management experienceKnowledge of the UK school system and curriculum
