Do you have experience within Further Education, apprenticeships or technical training-or are you a hands-on Electrical Installation professional looking to move into training and pass on your knowledge?
On offer is a long-term contract within a well-established college, supporting apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications. You’ll deliver high-quality teaching and practical training, carry out assessments, provide coaching and mentoring, and help learners achieve their full potential.
This role would suit someone with lecturing/training experience who is looking for a stable, rewarding position in an established education setting.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in Electrical Installation
- Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
- Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
- £40 – £55 per hour | 6-12 months | Doncaster-based
The Person:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- Current or previous industry experience in Electrical Installation (or closely related sector)
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 DET) and/or assessing qualifications (TAQA, A1/D32/D33) preferred, but not essential
- Experience lecturing, training or assessing apprentices (advantageous)
- Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
