Cyber Security Engineer

Overview

In this role you will join a focused IT Security team in a London financial brokerage to implement and maintain robust security across the infra. You will manage core controls including WAF/DDoS, SIEM/SOAR/EDR, and identity/mobility security, while addressing vulnerabilities and incident response. You’ll work hybrid, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help safeguard sensitive data at scale. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with visibility across security operations and strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage WAF/DDoS and security gateways; monitor and respond to SIEM/SOAR/EDR alerts
• Configure and maintain firewalls, MFA/SSO, and MDM/MAM
• Conduct vulnerability scans and remediation; manage certificates and IDS/IPS
• Oversee PAM implementation and security training; support penetration test remediations
• Deliver security awareness training and contribute to ad-hoc security projects
