An opportunity has arisen within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Safeguarding Support Team to appoint two skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic Registered Professionals as an adult focused Safeguarding Specialist Nurse/Practitioner.
The post holders will support the Named Nurse/Professional in embedding a family-focused safeguarding approach across the Trust within a designated geographical hub model as part of the wider Safeguarding Support Team.
The Portsmouth Hub supports the Portsmouth city services which includes an inpatient mental health unit as well as the community physical and mental health teams and works closely with Portsmouth Local Authority.
The Forensic and Learning Disabilities Hub works across the Trust’s Adult Low and Medium Secure Services and Learning Disabilities, Secure and Community Forensic, Services. Working closely with both the Local Authority and Provider Collaborative.
The Safeguarding Support Team is required to cover the needs of the clinical teams across the Trust, therefore core working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am — 5pm.
