Location: London, M25 & South EastRate: £250-£300 per day, depending on experienceContract: Contract-to-PermanentAstute People are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join an established, independent asbestos consultancy with a strong and ongoing workload across London, the M25 and wider South East.This is an opportunity to join a busy team on an initial contract basis, with the potential to move permanently after approximately 3 months if it’s the right fit for both you and the business.

The Role

As an Asbestos Analyst, you’ll be predominantly field-based, working across a mixture of commercial and domestic properties.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out air monitoring and fibre monitoring
  • Undertaking 4-stage clearance testing
  • Producing accurate reports using tablet/handheld technology
  • Working in accordance with UKAS requirements, legislation and company procedures
  • Maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
  • Working across a varied and busy project portfolio

About You

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Experience with air monitoring and 4-stage clearances
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good understanding of UKAS requirements and asbestos legislation
  • Strong health & safety awareness
  • Good communication and client-facing skills
  • A thorough and diligent approach to your work
  • Flexibility to undertake night work, overtime and weekend rota when required
  • Dual-qualified Surveyor/Analysts are particularly welcome.
