Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £42k + Training & Benefits
A UKAS accredited Asbestos company is seeking a qualified and professional individual to join their team. They are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally in the Yorkshire region, who is fully signed off for full surveying duties on domestic and local authority sites. Our client is a medium-sized outfit who have a growing client base across the UK. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and will have a proven track record of meeting performance targets consistently. Salaries on offer are competitive, and packages include: company vehicle, fuel card, annual leave allowance and pension scheme enrollment.

Experience / Qualifications
- Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
- Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 guidelines
- Able to travel in line with company needs
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role
- Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from site
- Delivering samples to the laboratory
- Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
- Creating schematic drawings and annotating existing floorplans
- Providing technical advice to clients
- Working in line with agreed personal targets
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
