Are you interested in supporting and caring for people with Dementia and have good leadership skills? We need a Service Support Manager to join our committed, friendly senior team to work with us in providing a safe and good quality service for adults with Dementia, providing person centred support to individuals and someone who understands the person is more than the symptoms of Dementia. The role is varied and requires good management skills. You will be expected to lead and manage a team of staff in order to meet the needs of individuals. You will support the Operations Manager in providing leadership for the development of a quality service that meets CQC regulations and provides value for money. You will promote and actively implement legislation imposed by the Care Act to ensure service users receive a safe, effective, appropriate service that enables them to achieve and maintain independence, dignity and choice. You will actively promote and role model the values of choice, independence, dignity, respect and reablement.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and is subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
