CAD Technician – Mechanical / Process

We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to support the production and development of mechanical and process drawings across industrial / water-related projects.

The role

You will be responsible for producing, updating and amending technical drawings including:

• P&IDs and process schematics
• Mechanical layouts
• Pipework and piping drawings
• Pump and equipment layouts
• General AutoCAD drawings
• Drawing updates from engineering and site information

What we are looking for

• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Previous experience producing P&IDs, schematics or mechanical/process drawings
• Good understanding of pipework, pumps and mechanical equipment
• Experience within water, wastewater, utilities, industrial or process environments
• Revit experience would be beneficial but is not essential
• Background as a CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsman, Mechanical Draughtsman or CAD Designer

This would suit someone who is confident taking engineering information and turning it into accurate, clear technical drawings.
