Relief On-Call Social Care Assistant for Elderly Dementia

Orkney Islands Council seeks a Relief Social Care Assistant for St Rognvald’s House. Hours are offered on an as and when required basis, with a pay rate of £16.38 per hour including Distant Islands Allowance.

You will work under senior staff to provide continuous care to frail, elderly, and those with dementia, attending to general and personal care needs. The role requires SVQ2 in Health and Social Care (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent, and registration with the SSSC within 3 months.
