Our Independence Training Facilities train students with learning difficulties and disabilities who are attending College study programmes to live independent lives. You will be bringing your residential experience to this role, working closely with the Colleges teaching and Additional Learning Support teams. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally. As an Independent Living Support Worker you will work as part of a team to promote a positive experience and support students to work towards the “Preparing for Adulthood” outcomes We have four main sites across the city with state-of-the-art facilities. Further future investment in our estates is now allowing us to provide the best possible outcomes for our students and local communities, delivered by our fantastic community of colleagues.
