Alongside our branded portfolio, we’re a leading supplier of delicious own-label pastry, party food, olives and antipasti, continental meats, dips, sauces and plant-based food to the UK’s major retailers, as well as across a large food service customer base.
At our Bristol site we are one of the leading producer’s of chilled soups and sauces. We proudly supply roughly 40% of the UK’s chilled sauces and 20% of the country’s chilled soups to some of the UK’s leading retailers.
Position
As a Kitchen Production Operative you will be:
Key Responsibilities
- Follow written procedures for cooking batches of Soup & Sauce (full training will be provided)
- To comply with all our Standard Operating Procedures to ensure customer orders are produced safely, on time, and all aspects of hygiene, quality and cost are met.
- Work as a member of a small team in an automated environment that will include an element of physical work when loading equipment.
- Operating production lines and automated equipment
- Maintaining hygiene and quality standards
- Working collaboratively within a 24/7 manufacturing team
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety practices
Required Skills and Experience
We are looking for the following skill set, but not limited to, and full training will be provided:
- A good standard of English and Maths
- Comfortable working a 12-hour shift
- Experience in a similar production or FMCG environment preferred (not essential)
- Flexible and adaptable to different tasks
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and food hygiene standards (training provided)
- A team player with good communication and attention to detail
