We are hiring for our client, who is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join its Belfast-based team, supporting clients with tax advisory and business funding.
This Chartered Accountant opportunity offers varied, client-facing work, direct exposure to senior leaders and comprehensive training. You will develop specialist knowledge of corporation tax, innovation-related reliefs and funding opportunities while helping businesses turn complex financial information into practical decisions.

The Role
Build relationships with clients through telephone calls, emails and face-to-face meetings.
Work with finance, operational and technical teams to understand their business activities and funding requirements.
Support tax advisory work, developing expertise in UK and Republic of Ireland corporation tax, R&D tax relief and Patent Box.
Develop your understanding of project accounting, management accounting and forecasting to support client work.
Help businesses identify suitable grants and funding opportunities across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and the EU.
Prepare professional advisory documents and funding applications, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Develop your knowledge of corporation tax software, group relief and the interaction between tax reliefs and funding.
Work directly with senior leaders, gaining practical experience and guidance.
The Person
A qualified accountant, with ACA, ACCA or an equivalent qualification.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information.
High attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in client-facing work.
Able to organise competing priorities and deliver work within agreed deadlines.
Interested in developing specialist expertise in tax advisory and business funding.
