About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and analytical graduate to join a fast-paced operational environment in an Operations Support Graduate position.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and using information to support business decision-making. Working closely with operational managers, you will play a key role in reporting, planning, performance analysis and continuous improvement activities across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a long-term career in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Continuous Improvement or Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports.
  • Analyse operational data and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support labour and resource planning activities.
  • Assist with forecasting and performance monitoring.
  • Investigate issues and identify root causes using data and operational insight.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects.
  • Work closely with managers to provide accurate reporting and meaningful business insights.
  • Ensure data is accurate, reliable and supports operational decision-making.
  • Track actions arising from operational reviews and performance meetings.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and present meaningful findings.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and inquisitive approach with the confidence to challenge data where appropriate.

Desirable Criteria

  • Placement year or previous experience in an operational, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or data-led environment.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting/dashboard tools.
  • Exposure to KPI reporting, forecasting or planning activities.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement or Lean methodologies.
  • Experience working with ERP, WMS or other business systems.
