Overview

In this role within FTIs Transaction Services team, you will perform financial due diligence and modelling to assess performance drivers in acquisitions. You will deliver focused due diligence outputs, work with diverse data sets, and identify value levers such as QoE and NWC. You’ll mentor junior teammates, draft report sections, and engage in business development and client discussions. The role combines rigorous analysis with client-facing collaboration to support deal decisions and value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and model historical and projected financial performance of target companies
  • Deliver standalone FDD sections (QoE, NWC, ND, historical performance) to senior leadership
  • Create, manipulate, and analyse diverse data sets
  • Identify value drivers and pricing levers within transactions
  • Oversee and review work by junior team members
  • Draft report sections related to areas of analysis
  • Lead business development activities including pipeline, pitches, and client meetings
  • Communicate with peers, seniors, and clients
  • Lead Q&A calls and diligence sessions
  • Build strong internal and external relationships

Key requirements

  • Degree in a numeric subject
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in Transaction Services (FDD)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and data manipulation
  • Self-starter, inquisitive, and team player
  • Strong written and spoken communication
  • Time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Prior transaction services or restructuring experience with corporates, private equity, or creditors/banks
  • Use of AI tools is a bonus
