Technical Manager – North London – up to 65,000 plus package

In this role you will lead the technical and design team on multiple new build residential developments in North London, ensuring design packages are delivered on time and compliant. Responsibilities

• Oversee full working drawings packages for residential schemes
• Coordinate with architectural team to ensure timely delivery of packages
• Liaise with commercial and production teams throughout development
• Lead and develop the technical/coordinator team, manage priorities and issues
• Review and interrogate design information across disciplines
• Assess and negotiate compliance with Building Regs, NHBC standards, and sustainability goals
• Identify critical paths and monitor project programmes
• Communicate across disciplines at all levels and maintain high attention to detail

Key requirements

• 6+ years of residential developer experience on multiple new build developments
• Strong knowledge of the development/technical design process
• Experience with detailed design for RC frame and timber frame residential schemes
• Ability to question and verify design information across disciplines
• Architectural background
• AutoCAD experience (beneficial)
• Understanding of statutory requirements (Building Regs, NHBC Standards, sustainability)
• Ability to interpret and negotiate compliance and project programmes
• Degree-level education or relevant professional qualification
• Excellent communication, organisational, and people-management skills
