Real Estate Finance Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will join a Legal 500-ranked firm’s national Banking team in Oxfordshire as a Real Estate Finance Solicitor (8+ PQE). You will advise on high-value domestic and international real estate finance transactions for banks, lenders, debt funds and borrowers. You lead matters, provide strategic client advice, and support business development to grow the practice. The role offers high-quality work, progression and exposure to cross-border financing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisition and investment finance
• Advise on development funding and structured lending
• Handle real estate aspects of corporate transactions
• Assist with funding arrangements including deferred consideration and overage
• Lead transaction management and provide strategic client guidance
• Support business development and networking to grow the practice
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and develop strong client relationships
• Contribute to ongoing market-leading finance practice

Key requirements

• 8+ years PQE
• strong background in banking and finance with real estate finance expertise
• experience on complex lender and borrower transactions
• familiarity with LMA documentation
