Overview
As a Management Accountant in our Jersey fiduciary team, you will strengthen financial reporting and provide insight to support strategic decisions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring accurate statements and robust controls within the finance function. Your expertise underpins fiduciary operations and regulatory compliance in Jersey. This role offers an opportunity to shape budgeting and performance analysis in a regulated environment. You will contribute to the broader financial strategy and reporting quality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ledgers, post journals, and prepare accounts with strong controls and accuracy
- Manage the broader finance function and liaise with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for fiduciary operations
- Provide accurate financial reporting and insight to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with IFRS in financial statements and internal reports
Key requirements
- Solid bookkeeping and accounting skills with attention to detail
- Experience in managing a finance function and stakeholder liaison
- Knowledge of IFRS and applying it to financial reporting
- Familiarity with Jersey regulatory and business environment
- Entitled/Entitled to work residential status (legal work eligibility)
