Clarkson Owens Recruitment is currently working with a large civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Agent / Project Manager for an upcoming renewables project.

n

The role will initially focus on pre-construction activities for a major renewables project in Dundee, with some involvement in an existing project in Edinburgh during the first few weeks.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent or Project Manager with a civil engineering background who is looking to work with a major contractor on a busy and potentially long-term programme of work.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
• Supporting the pre-construction phase of a major renewables project.

n

• Liaising directly with the client and other project stakeholders.

n

• Preparing and reviewing method statements and associated project documentation.

n

• Assisting with the planning and coordination of upcoming works.

n

• Helping oversee an existing project in Edinburgh during the initial 3–4 weeks.

n

• Working closely with the wider project and site teams to ensure works are properly planned and coordinated.

n

• Maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

n

• Supporting the project through to construction and delivery as required.

n

About You

n

The ideal candidate will have:

n

n
• Previous experience as a Site Agent, Project Manager or similar within civil engineering.

n

• Strong experience working with clients and project stakeholders.

n

• Experience preparing method statements and project documentation.

n

• A strong understanding of pre-construction and project planning.

n

• Experience working on large-scale civil engineering projects.

n

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

n

• The ability to work independently while also coordinating effectively with the wider project team.

n

• Experience within the renewables sector would be advantageous but is not essential.

n
