Digital Apprenticeship Coach | Hybrid – Swansea | £40,000 | Permanent
I’m working with a highly rated Welsh digital apprenticeship provider that is growing its delivery team. You’ll coach Welsh Government-funded apprentices through IT & data programmes, in a hybrid role that blends remote delivery, employer visits and time in the office. If you’re a technical professional who wants your expertise to turn into careers, this is a strong move.
The role:
- Deliver and coach Level 3/4 apprentices on Data Technician courses, through remote sessions, workplace visits and workshops
- Manage a caseload of apprentices, tracking progress against the apprenticeship standard and keeping records compliant
- Run progress reviews with apprentices and their employers, setting clear targets for knowledge, skills and behaviours
- Prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessment, including portfolio and project guidance
- Build working relationships with employers so on-the-job learning ties back to the programme
- Keep delivery quality high through observations, standardisation and regular CPD
Essential:
- Experience training, coaching or mentoring, whether formal apprenticeship delivery or something equivalent
- Confident running structured learning sessions for early-career learners
- Happy to travel across South Wales to employer sites
- A teaching or assessing qualification (TAQA, CAVA or similar), or a willingness to work towards one
Desirable:
- Prior apprenticeship delivery against a named standard
- Familiarity with EPA processes
