Head of Technology & Digital Innovation | Retail Brand – CTO Trajectory
I’m working with a high-growth retail business looking for an ambitious technology leader to help shape its next phase of growth.
This is a broad, commercially focused role spanning technology, architecture, data & AI — building a lean, scalable technology ecosystem across retail, ecommerce/DTC, wholesale and marketplaces.
What I’m looking for:
Strong retail experience is essential — fashion, apparel or accessories would be a bonus
Broad omnichannel architecture experience across ecommerce, stores, wholesale & marketplaces
Strong understanding of data strategy, systems & integrations
Experience within a Shopify environment
Exposure to AI & automation and how it can create real commercial value
Strategic but hands-on — comfortable working with partners, vendors and a lean internal team
This could be a great step-up opportunity for a Head of Technology / Technology Director, or someone with broad architectural experience who is ready to take greater ownership of the technology agenda
You don’t need the perfect scale-up CV. Breadth, commercial judgement, ambition and the ability to build are what matter.
