Energy Transactional Associate – Houston
A leading national law firm is seeking a 4-6 year Energy Transactional Associate to join its Houston practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong energy transactional experience to work on sophisticated upstream and/or midstream matters, including:
- Acquisitions and divestitures
- Joint ventures
- Gathering, processing, transportation and storage agreements
- Fractionation and other midstream commercial agreements
- Development agreements
- Energy financing arrangements
The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, solid deal experience, and the ability to take ownership of discrete aspects of transactions while working collaboratively with a sophisticated team.
The practice offers meaningful responsibility, significant partner and client contact, and exposure to complex national energy transactions. The team is described as collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on associate development and long-term career growth.
Compensation: $295,000-$350,000, depending on experience.
