Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.

We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

Want to be a part of it?

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially astute bid professional with a proven track record of securing complex, high-value opportunities within the utilities, infrastructure, engineering or water sectors. You’ll be a strategic thinker who can shape winning customer propositions, influence senior stakeholders and lead the development of compelling, customer-focused submissions.

Working across the full bid lifecycle, you’ll develop pursuit strategies, establish clear win themes and coordinate technical, operational and commercial inputs to create competitive and deliverable solutions. You’ll ensure bids are governed effectively, meet all customer requirements and align with business objectives.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, operational teams, commercial colleagues and supply chain partners to identify opportunities, manage risk and drive successful outcomes. As a leader within the function, you’ll provide direction and support to bid professionals, helping to build capability and embed best practice across the team.

You’ll also champion continuous improvement, using lessons learned and performance insights to strengthen future submissions, improve processes and enhance overall work-winning performance.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join M Group Water at a pivotal stage in its growth journey. With a significant AMP8 and AMP9 pipeline, increasing key account opportunities and continued expansion into higher-value water services, you’ll play a key role in converting strategic opportunities into profitable, deliverable contracts while strengthening the organisation’s bid capability.

What you’ll bring

Do you have demonstrable experience leading complex, strategic bids from opportunity qualification through to submission and handover?

Have you got strong knowledge of bid strategy, governance, commercial principles and proposal management best practice?
